Denim Favourites

Jeans are pretty much a staple in everyones wardrobe, and  I am loving the vast variations of styles of jeans at the moment, rather than everybody instantly going for the 'skinny fit', people are opting for straight leg/ flares/ boyfriend jeans and there is a huge selection available at the moment. So here are just a few of my favourite pairs which I am loving and are on the high street currently.

SUMMER IN THE CITY

As much as I would like to say that it is finally summer... I am currently sitting in Central London sheltering from the rain.

However, I am hopeful that the weather will pick up, hence Summer outfit planning has begun.

I feel this outfit would be perfect for a city break, strolling around the beautiful streets of Rome / Paris in the sunshine( THE DREAM!!), and perhaps not London in the gloomy rain.

Zara is absolutely killing it at the moment - as you can tell from this outfit I am a huge fan. Their clothes for SS16 are just amazing hence the entire outfit selection being from there (minus one item.)

The star item in this outfit, has got to be the wide brim hat, the colour I am in love with, and I just knew this would be the perfect hat for this summer. The trousers are an item which I would not normally go for, however when trying them on I was pleasantly surprised, they are definitely an item I felt I was missing, and will be a staple for my Summer wardrobe. The Lace top (which I also own in cream *embarrassed much*) is beautiful, the lace detail is stunning, and I just know I will get my wear out of it, it went perfectly with the trousers so of course I had to buy it. The studded tote from Zara, I already owned, I felt this paired perfectly with the Sandals.

When shopping in And Other Stories a couple of days ago, (they have a sale on with up to 50% off at the moment which is phenomenal, I highly recommend checking it out) and I came across this lovely pair of black sandals, which I am most definitely purchasing next pay day. I think they are so versatile, and will pretty much go with most outfits, the studs just add that extra detail however they are still quite plain which I really like.

So, no matter if it is Summer or Winter, black will remain my go to colour all year round. With the injection of colour from the beautiful Zara Hat, I think I can just about get away with this outfit being somewhat 'summery'!

Pretty in Pink

Soooo much PINK!!

One of my favourite colours has got to be pink... and I am loving how popular it is at the moment. I especially like the more neutral tone of pink, this pastel tone is perfect coming into the Spring / Summer months.

Whilst shopping I am seeing so many pink items, above are just a few of my favourites. The pink bomber from Charlotte Simone is incredible, ah, I just need to get my hands on one, this specific style is 'Candy Floss Crop', how beautiful is it?!

I recently treated myself to the new Maje 'M' bag, which my fabulous manager brought back for me from Paris. This suede bag is so chic and has very subtle hints of the Bohemian trend with the fringing detail. There are various colours and textures, but of course I went for the pink suede edition. It is such a versatile and classic bag, it can act as both a practical cross body every day bag - to a chic clutch, amazing I know!

SIBLING - LONDON FASHION WEEK

So sadly, London Fashion Week is over.

A/W Fashion Week, especially in London is one of my favourite week’s of the year (the other being S/S Fashion Week).

This year I had the amazing opportunity to view one of the biggest brands from London Fashion Week – Sibling. Thanks to the Sunglasses Hut, I had the chance to attend Day 2 and view the SIBLING catwalk show.

SIBLING is a collaboration between Joe Bates, Sid Bryan and Cozette McCreery.

Sibling’s latest collection featured sheer skin tight body suits, coloured tinsel and LOTS and lots of sequins. Their latest collection contained major influences from 1980’s - they aimed to present “daytime disco.” The iconic Grace Jones hugely influenced their new collection – the singer was a renowned performer and was huge on the disco scene during the 1980s.

The designers aimed to bring “a bit of sparkle” and they certainly delivered.  Their collection included lace cat suits, knitted lace playsuits, a tinsel wrapped plunge neckline hood (INCREDIBLE -  I know), chunky knits and a show stopping oversized knitted pair of headphones. My favourite piece within the collection had to be the low cutline neck garment, featuring a hooded tinsel wrap around the head - the chunky purple knit and purple sequins are breathtaking.

The Catwalk show took place at Brewer Street Car Park in Soho – the head to toe knitwear show was just amazing. Sibling displayed an outstanding collection this year,  I was so lucky and blessed with the opportunity to view their catwalk show.

THE REPETITION OF LILAC AND BLUE COLOURS WITHIN THE COLLECTION IS TO COMPLEMENT THE HUES OF JONES' 1977 PORTFOLIO ALBUM.
" The lilac Party Girl cardigan with hand - sewn sequin trims ... alongside hooded fine united lace playsuit - these being perhaps the most Jones pieces" SIBLING.

PANTONE Inspired - Rose Quartz and Serenity

PANTONE.

So Pantone have released their colour of the year for 2016, Rose Quartz and Serenity. It is the first time Pantone have blended two shades.

Pantone have described their new colours as 'an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.'

So as it has just been pay day, I have been doing A LOT of online shopping recently spotted similar shades to Rose Quartz and Serenity EVERYWHERE.

I came across House of Sunny on Instagram and it is safe to say that I absolutely love this London based brand, some of their new collection is amazing, I will for sure be placing an order.

I am loving Public Desire's new shoe collection. These creepers are the perfect dupe to Rihanna's puma collection. I am so obsessed with these and think I will definitely have to purchase.
